Don’t ship real life people that you do not personally know and are not friends with.

It’s creepy. Stop.

Especially when you are aware that it makes them uncomfortable. Especially when you already know they’re in a relationship with someone else.

Shipping OCs is okay. Do that.

Shipping two friends that you personally know, know they’re single, and have seen them actually be cutie butts together and know that when you tease and ship them it flusters the fuck out of them is okay. Do that. Though stop that if they tell you to stop and that it makes them uncomfortable.

Don’t ship fucking real life strangers you don’t even know.

Basically know how to fucking respect people. We’re real people behind these screens ya know.

OH YA’LL ARE GONNA LEARN TO. DAY.

So. Shipping.

It’s fun! Lot’s of laughs, some really nice fan art can come from it, and yeah basically people can have a good time right?

IF YOU’RE SHIPPING F I C T I O N A L   C H A R A C T E R S

YOU FUDDY DUDDIES >:U

When it’s fictional characters, that’s great, but when you start shipping two people in real life, you are essentially trying to play match maker. And suddenly, it’s no longer cute.

Why?

Because it makes the real life people you ‘ship’ together uncomfortable.

Imagine if you will, regardless if you’re a believer or not, God sitting on his mighty cloud. And, he reaches down out of the heavens and grabs John Doe and Dorthy Deer. And he takes them and squishes them together violently and aggressively, chanting “kiss kiss kiss kiss.”

Does that look pleasant? Does it sound pleasant?

Guys, don’t do that. Don’t try to force two perfectly happy people to even consider the idea of getting romantically involved, when they’re enjoying being friends.

People aren’t fictional characters you shipping fanatics =n=

I know some of ya’ll don’t know any better, so I want you to take this as a warning. To those of you who do know what you’re doing.

STOP.

It’s wrong. It’s rude. It’s creepy. And it’s just… weird.
