I would like to hear more about your snek, Vodkachair Grey.

omg-snakes:

Prepare to regret having asked.

This is her and she is perfect and tiny and probably the naughtiest snake I have. She has escaped no fewer than three times from a locked, weighted, and in the case of her most recent excursion from an enclosure where the lid had been secured with twist-ties. She was missing for five days and was found ACROSS THE HOUSE emerging from under a sofa where I had looked just minutes prior. She has also become somewhat friendly with our resident cat, who twice has been the one to find and tattle on her (and left her completely unharmed) when she’s gone walkabout.
She was named after the steampunk dirigible that I would have, according to a name-generator that I stumbled across one delightful evening.

She’s just a classic corn snake with some interesting zig-zagging and really dark contrast, but she’s the prettiest classic I’ve ever seen and I thank my lucky stars every day that she’s a part of my collection.

For the record, the lid on her enclosure is now held down with twelve binder clips and has thus far held secure. Fingers crossed.
