My wildest ride with the furry fandom is still when i was literally the last person on earth figure out the dude that writes Two Kinds is Markiplier’s brother and it was like having my world turned upside down.
Y’all were like “what rock have been under?” when I posted about it.
WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!????
Video clip where he says so himself and even hold up a trade-hardback of the comic while borrowing his brothers room for a livestream
Wiki page from him on Mark’s fandom wiki (Tom is his middle name)
The best part is his innocent obliviousness to the fact his brother’s comic is one of the well-known long-runners in the history of furry webcomics. It’s just surreal.
I know it blew my mind because despite not having read it or seen Mark’s show, I DO have online acquaintances that are big fans of one or both.
Yeah haha! He mentions it so nonchalantly. It’s funny that both siblings are super famous in their own way, to their own niche crowds.
Just… Wow… What were the chances of that?
I absolutely adore the Two Kinds comic, and my brother is a huge fan of Markiplier. If you ever have time, you should definitely check Two Kinds out. It’s pretty funny and a great story.
A lot of my followers are recommending it so I might.
Once I get caught up on Dan and Mabbs Furry Adventures I’m going to need another webcomic to binge.
Getting caught up on DMFA is a chore.
I’m years behind so I’m on like 1319.
Still makes me laugh that a comic by Markiplier’s brother, what started out as a Furcadia fan comic, and a newspaper strip are the longest runners in furry webcomics
What’s the newspaper strip?
They might be talking about Peter and Company. It never actually made it to newspapers, but that was the creator’s original plan. The updates aren’t really regular, but it’s pretty enjoyable.
Since I’m not really in the furry fandom, I really don’t know many things that are out there, but after checking the one linked, honestly. Kevin and Kell has been going much longer (since 1995) and it is syndicated.
People are like “Doomguy is a murder machine with no feelings and his only pleasure is murder”
And I’m like “Dude ended up in this fucked up situation because he was disgraced after refusing to open fire on innocent civilians back on Earth, would rather sacrifice himself if it meant saving what’s left of humanity and had a pet bunny named Daisy”
I really, really hate it when people say or portray Doomguy as just a mindless sociopathic killing machine who cares for nothing other than murdering demons. Doomguy clearly cares about saving people as evident by the fact he looks down at the corpse in the beginning of DOOM 2016 and gets pissed off when Samuel Hayden told him fucking around with Hell was “for the betterment of mankind.” Olivia Pierce also taunts him about not being able to save people, further implying he actually does want to protect people. Also lets not forget how he backed up Vega.
Doomguy may take great joy in slaughtering demons, but that’s just because they’re made of pure evil and he’s a goddamn hero. Doomguy is chaotic good, end of story.
Also, remember how in Doom II, Doomguy literally fought the demons on Earth all by himself, as every other soldier was dead, and he personally flipped the switch to deactivate a forcefield keeping the starship full of human civilians trapped on Earth? He stayed behind, knowing he was doomed to die, to ensure that the last survivors of the human race could escape.
That’s not an evil mass-murderer, that’s a true hero.
You might remember way long ago when I did this last time. Since it is the holiday season, I thought I should do it again. All you have to do is reblog this and I will give you a Pokemon egg! (however, this will be to the first 100) – though I might think about increasing this number
Also, you need to have a submit box!
———————————————————————————
What you will receive ~
Example:
“Here’s your Pokémon egg! Take good care of it ‘til it hatches!”
*next day* “Oh look! Your egg is about to hatch!”
“It hatched into…”
“…a Vulpix! Congratulations!”
This is just one example — you could get any pokemon!
