Thanks to some changes at Cloudflare, our CDN provider, you can now access the site without captchas using Tor to access our clearnet site. This will be faster than our onion service, which we know isn’t ideal for those of you browsing in oppressive regimes such as Russia, and also means you can browse the site using TLS without any errors. All you need to do is get the Tor Browser Bundle (can’t reach the Tor website? Email gettor@torproject.org with “windows” “linux” or “osx” in the body to get a copy) and then browse Derpibooru as usual.
The onion site isn’t going anywhere, and will continue to exist as a more secure alternative – we’ll be getting it signed up with a TLS certificate of its own as soon as the CA/Browser forum approve non-EV .onion certificates. So, any year now…
Work continues on all sorts of good stuff in Derpibooru’s codebase, mostly by liamwhite1, Princess Luna and DoublePipe. Lots of small updates have been trickling out, and some larger updates will be released soon.
“I can’t for the life of me think of what it’s called, but I’m telling you, you’d love it,” said your mom, adding that the recently opened establishment, which she reported was done really nice inside, was located down over in that area where they built all those new shops.
