I’m sorry, I can’t support this because it’s taking the parents stupidity out on the kids by depraving them of the money that’s coming in as well.
a party of those benefits has always been the vaccination of children. Problem was, there was no drawback for not actually doing it (and too many loopholes around it).

And I have 0 sympathy. These people put others at risk and gloat about rorting the system. If they want the money, they can get a medical exemption or vaccinate their kids (which is free because of Medicare btw) It’s that simple.
Other measures don’t work. People respond quickly when they stand to lose money, even if it is a tiny bit (family benefit A is something like 1.5k/yr
It’s not the parents I give a shit about, it’s the kids.
And who receives the money? Not the kids. Their parents.
Most of the people who aren’t vaccinating their kids aren’t poor. They’re middle class.
They can deal with the loss, and if they want it back, the solution is not hard. They just have to follow the rules that have always been there.
