I was unaware of any transphobic things BD has done, can you give some details? Also, is it like old stuff that may of changed since or is it still around? Sorry for the kinda stupid question.

Nah it’s cool! I wasn’t totally familiar with things, but after looking into it, yikes

For some links, heres an example of their views on women, there’s this big ol’ post, they’ve had multiple issues with lifting/using uncredited toy designs along with stuff like this, this deletion of a trans guy’s account because of made-up guidelines, those skeevy product descriptions, and I just came across this expose a former employee wrote that describes their use of horrible ways they get around copyright, pirated art programs, NDAs, fraud, refusing to listen to employees, the shitty way BD runs e621’s tagging of “intersex”, more design stealing (jesus christ), refusal to show essential paperwork…goddamn. And these appear to be recent, ongoing events; none seem to be more than a year old.

I just heard stories before, but wow. This does not sound like a company I want anyone to support, endorse, or defend. Not when there’s so many better alternatives.

If you really REALLY need a bad dragon, don’t buy through their site. Buy them through somewhere/someone else. Throw a toy in some boiling water for a little bit and it’s brand new, so used ones are fine!

Anyway, lets go over your alternatives!

Frisky-beast is incredibly similar, with a great selection and fantastic prices! Definitely a better option. Erotic Exotics features both sculpted toys (ooo, werehorses!) and toys live-cast from horses, dogs and humans. Also pretty well priced! Also, Fetishzone features toys but also really nice looking sheathes and other stuff (dog toys with inflatable knots, horsedick strapons, etc)! I also believe Zetapaws is still up and selling, but I did notice Zetapaws toys available on Fetishzone, so I dunno if they merged or whatever.

You could also look into individual toy creators, such as Average and others (may add to this post later one) on FA/Etsy.

Hope that’s helpful!
