Just a small philosophical moment I witnessed in the grocery store the other day.
As someone who worked in the service industry, I didn’t learn it the easy way, either.
I learnt long ago that being overly cheery and helpful is often the biggest fuck you I can give to someone who’s being a dick (especially since it makes it so much easier to so I’m multiple backhanded comments that go unnoticed)
