Circa-2012: Tumblr basically worships ponies. Ask blogs and art posts are everywhere. Everyone praises the writing, characters, etc.
2015: Pony fandom is reduced to this little group, while everyone that left takes cheap shots at bronies and complains about the show direction without even watching the new episodes.
I mean… I don’t usually talk about this stuff, but… the fuck happened? Did the Princess Twilight thing just kill everyone’s love for the show? Something else?
Honestly, I think it’s rose-colored glasses. Bronies have always been called a cancer by 4chan, and despised on Tumblr.
Also, I’m going to re-iterate that the “complaining about the show direction without even watching the new episodes” is as old as FiM itself.
