I hate to do this, I hate to come begging to you, my friends and followers, but I’m in such a spot I don’t know what else to do.
I have an overdraft debt to the tune of $500 that I have been trying and trying to pay down for longer than I’d like to admit, but every time I get close to being in the black, it’s time to pay the mortgage or buy medicine or whatever again, and I’m back to square one.
The bank is tired of waiting. They are now holding any and all money that comes into my account until the debt is paid in full. My overdraft will not be restored.
They have given me until this Friday to give them the entirety of the money or my file will go to hard collections. I have to fight down my panic just thinking about the possibility of that happening.
My stress levels have been astronomical. I can’t sleep properly, I can’t focus enough to get work done efficiently. All this financial stress on top of dealing with the recent death-by-suicide of an acquaintance I greatly admired is just to much for me to bear.
On top of all this, I have run out of one of my prescriptions and can’t afford more. My husband needs a blood pressure monitor test and it costs money we don’t have. And yesterday his glasses broke irreparably. We have had to borrow money from friends for groceries and borrow/mooch food from family. Plus, as many of you may already know, my laptop is on its last legs and desperately needs replacing.
I can’t possibly take on more work, I’m already so behind on commissions, so I can’t even offer you anything in return. I’m so sorry.
But please, if you can spare even a dollar, please, please help. I’m at the end of my rope.
