I’m sure I’m preaching to the choir here, but just in case. Please make sure you remember to setup a mail redirect of some type before you leave. If she’s prepared to damage your mail while you’re there, I’m sure worse would happen should something arrive without you being there.

Yeah, I’m more expressing concern it may get left behind in the flurry of activity.
Even though you don’t have somewhere yet, maybe diverting it to someone you trust could be a temporary option?
