A: I thought this show was entirely digital where its impossible NOT to see every crisp detail, zoom around, and crop properly. Nothing is hidden. There are no physical cells to draw on. No physical cells to mess up on alignment to the capture camera and fit onto pegs. And then this wacky camera crop happens. What??
B: They drew half of Buttercup’s face. They drew HALF of Buttercup’s face. It would of been easier to just draw (and ink) the entire circle and just shift it in frame.
C: So if an error like this exists, its safe to assume its drawn frame per frame and not cut out animation ala Johnny Test. No ‘draw once’ puppets being slid around on screen. They are actually drawing frames or at least key frames. So.. they are doing more work for a style that looks cheap and anemic. You go this far and you can’t fatten up those lines? Give us some tasty line variations?
I.. I don’t.. Is this real?
I wonder if it would take more effort making fake screen shots than animating this show.
Just double checked. It’s real!
But they must use puppets or at least have symbols they use or something, because there’ve already been some errors with switching legs on Buttercup.
No, it’s definitely a hand drawn show (Like Spongebob or Steven Universe), they’re just really bad at anatomy.
Also with all of the modern technology used to make animated shows today I never thought I would see an animation error like this on a modern show.
Oh my God.
Just when you think it can’t get worse, IT IMMEDIATELY GETS WORSE.
