Interesting, as long as it doesn’t screw up mod support I’m cool with a free upgrade.
I’m hoping it improves mod support and stability and also support for a version of DirectX that was first released after Windows XP.
Maybe it will be optimized and run better and higher settings than the admittedly finicky state it’s in now.

It already ages pretty well, especially on the PC where you can run it at 1080p with the HD Texture pack Betheda made available for free on Steam.
