So in the trailer for The Jungle Book we see King Louie…and through an article John Favreau states that he is in fact not an orangutan but an extinct ape by the name of Gigantopithecus.
This was done because orangutans do not, in fact, live in India. But
Gigantopithecus did.
I love the idea of this giant living fossil leading a community of monkeys who view him as a god.
Zelda toy photography has been quite popular on Instagram for some time now, especially thanks to the recent Figma and Nendroid figures. Even myself I’ve tried some attempts in the past (you can see my Hyrule Adventures here).
But last week the official Nintendo IG account highlighted an artist whose Zelda-themed pictures go far beyond anything I’ve seen in this field. I’m talking about CaptainDangerous. Her attention to the detail, lightning and scenery recreate the adventures of Link in the most amazing and inspiring way. Feast your eyes and follow her account on Instagram for more.
These are fantastic!

Been reading up on the requirements to get a license to own reptiles here in WA.
It’s surprisedly easier that than I expected, which is good.
Also the species of Python that I’m considering is listed as one that is permitted for pets.
While it will be a while before I actually get one, still going to make sure I do my research beforehand, and plan properly for it
(I’m actually planning a really big vivarium for it. At least twice the size they say for an adult)
Due to a lot of crappy things
happening on April 15th, like
tax day, Abraham Lincoln getting
assassinated, and the Titanic sinking,
it has become informally known as
National That Sucks Day. Source
