adblock was recently bought out by an annamed party so its essentially useless at this point. you should find a new ad blocker extension asap
i recommend ublock origin (not just ublock, the origin is more well maintained)

so THAT’S why ads are popping up everywhere now! will try ublock origin, thanks for the heads-up
guys, its a new feature that let through some ads incase you actually want to see them. you can turn it off. Go to your AdBlock and click the icon in your browser, then click Options. then uncheck the “Allow some non-intrusive advertising”. that should fix it (And if you are going to kick up a stink about how they didnt tell you, they did. They literally opened a pop-up in your browser that told you what was happening and how to un-check this option)
