Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10 all have built in parental controls. Uninstalling Windows 10 is not going to save you from Parental Controls.

This is not a new feature. Software has been available to do this since Windows XP, but it is now integrated into Windows itself. Windows 7 allows parents to monitor application usage and time spent. Windows 8 and 10 allow parents to block and monitor internet usage also.

It requires your parents to set up a “family” account and designate you as a child account. You will get notified if this is the case when you login – it warns you if you’re being monitored.

All you’d have to do to get around this is to create a new account. That’s literally it.

That said if you do not own your PC, do not assume anything you do on it is private.

I’m loving the “this could be literally life threatening” though, some excellent shit stirring action, 8/10, points removed for poor execution.

Bloody idiots.

“Respect to Nature.”

Humans adapting themselves to nature rather than forcing other species to adapt to us. This is what we must do in the Anthropocene. Trees are the most important three dimensional structures of many ecosystems, and they are the central design features of most permaculture gardens. They provide many products and services to other species, from housing to food (acorns, insects, pollen), shade and shelter from the wind. We ought to respect their importance.

THIS IS WHAT LIFE SHOULD BE  AM SO FUCKING ABOUT THIS

Endark Update: Basement Snakes

So, I may have mentioned that the weather in my area has been pretty…wet, and also that our house isn’t exactly the newest thing on the block.  And to cut a long story short, I found this lil’ garden snake in the basement just a short while ago, and decided to take a picture of it for all of you before releasing it into the yard (which I did before making this post).  You know, I used to be creeped out by little creatures of all kinds, but I’ve gained enough confidence to pick this buddy up all by myself…though I’d probably freak out if I was asked to do so with any variant longer than my forearm.  One step at a time…
