By a 5 to 4 decision we made a historical moment for same-sex couples everywhere in the United States. No state can enforce a law banning them from a marriage licence. Now not only Same-Sex couples are recognized legally on the federal level but all states now must comply with this ruling. No doubt, there will likely be those who will demand an appeal but with current trends and politics the likelihood of it being recanted is very slim. Congratulations to couples everywhere no matter your sexual orientation, we are now one step closer to a more perfect union.
