i dont understand how some artists can have such a good grasp on lighting and inking and all that jazz but completely fuck up basic figure structure

I’ve often wondered the same thing because I’ve seen artists that are amazing at drawing but their works looks like they stopped improving their anatomy at “passable” but still managed to progress on literally every other facet of drawing.

SO THIS IS IMPORTANT.

Here’s why, basically, 78K was wasted on advertisements telling men to keep their legs together.

I, personally, cross my legs, but that’s neither here nor there, the point is that it’s really difficult for me to sit with my legs together. It’s a huge pain in the ass.

I actually learned this in my bio class, but I never thought to bring it up. How convenient that someone thought of it.
