ok but the issue with this so called argument is the hunger games i mean… it was post-apocalyptic world, death was expected. but in a book masked as a poor attempt at bdsm that’s actually abuse… yeah.
also this is implying that with an erotic book on bdsm, rape and abuse is expect when the core rules of bdsm are to respect your partner and treat them well.Also, the whole point of the Hunger Games is to make you horrified at the slaughter of children. 50 shades of grey pretends the abuse is romantic.
The only way you could compare the two, would be if Katniss was super happy about joining the hunger games and sided with the capital. And even then, it would be better written.
At first I just didn’t like 50 Shades.
