pettyrevenge:

So my wife works as an overnight baker at an over priced panini/soup/salad place. Well this particular location doesn’t have a general manager, so the district manager has to do all of the food supply ordering. However, she has not been doing this.

A few nights ago my wife and her coworker finally ran out of some of their products. Stuff like glaze for the pastries. Nothing to prevent them from making the items, but they wouldn’t be up to store standards. So they made an executive decision to make the pastries anyway, but leave a note for the morning opener explaining the situation and asking if they can borrow supplies from another store.

The next shift my wife worked both she and her coworker got ripped apart for doing this. They were told by the district manager that they weren’t allowed to make these decisions and to not do it again. Harsh but my wife shrugged it off. So that night they just didn’t make an item if they were missing ingredients.

Fast forward to yesterday. My wife and her coworker got written up for not completing their tasks. The district manager also told then she was to be consulted on everything they baked that night. My wife then started planning her petty revenge when she realized her complaints of having no supplies were being ignored. My wife and her coworker made a list of all of the items that were missing ingredients. But instead of calling the district manager and giving her the list all at once, they called her in intervals of 20-30 minutes for each item. Just enough time to allow her to fall asleep only to be woken up again. This continued until about 3am when the district manager told my wife’s coworker to skip everything they didn’t have ingredients for and she would do the order in the morning.
